Fuel level sensor DUT-E. Fuel volume and level measurement.

Fuel level sensor DUT-E is designed for precision fuel level measurement in all kinds of vehicles tanks, also in tanks of fixed installations.
DUT-E is used as a standard fuel level sensor or as an additional sensor to be used with AVL, FMS, tank monitoring systems or vehicle tracking systems like TECH-GNSS 2.
DUT-E as a part of telematics system is used:
  • to obtain the reliable information about current fuel volume in vehicle tank;
  • to define the vehicle fueling volume;
  • to detect the fuel theft from the tank;
  • to carry out the remote tank monitoring;
  • to determine the fuel consumption.

Fuel volume control in vehicle tracking systems

DUT-E has 5 bolted flange and is mounted instead of standard fuel level sensor or into a special hole in vehicle fuel tank.

It is recommended to install DUT-E in the geometrical center of a tank.

It is necessary to carry out the tank calibration procedure after fuel level sensor DUT-E installation. As a result the conformity table of fuel volume in the tank to DUT-E output signal will be received. Tank monitoring system uses obtained dаta to determine the fuel volume in the tank.
DUT-E 232 and DUT-E 485 can generate fuel volume (in liters or in percentage of full tank) in the output message. The calibration table should be stored in the DUT-E memory by means of SK DUT-E service kit.
Fuel level sensor in a tank

Fuel level sensor DUT-E passes the information on raising or lowering fuel level or volume in tank to tracking device. Vehicle tracking system with the help of GPS determines the location and time. The user of a system receives information about changes in fuel level in the form of parameters or diagrams. Refueling or fuel theft dаta may be presented in visual form.

Warranty period is 18 months from the date of installation or 24 months from the date of manufacturing.
